The Hyderabad e-Mobility Week commenced with great enthusiasm on Sunday with the ‘Rall-E’, an EV rally that was initiated at People’s Plaza and culminated at Hitex Exhibition Centre, promoting sustainable transportation and showcasing the progress of Telangana in EV adoption.
The first-ever EV rally witnessed a myriad of EV enthusiasts riding electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and electric buses in various parts of the city. It was a pre-event for the upcoming Formula E championship scheduled to be held in the city on February 11. The highlight of the rally was a unique stunt performance by Sheraaz and Rahul of Gravton Motors, aimed at spreading awareness about sustainable transportation and building excitement for the E-Mobility week. Actor-director Adivi Sesh congratulated the Gravton team and the stuntmen.
Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of IT, Industries and Commerce, flagged off the rally, along with Adivi Sesh, director Nag Ashwin, and other business leaders. “I express gratitude to the Telangana government for turning the dream of every EV manufacturer into a reality. This initiative will not only promote the message of sustainable mobility in the city but also at a national level,” said Parshuram Paka, CEO of Gravton Motors.
“We are thrilled to participate in the Hyderabad E-Mobility week, which I believe will be a landmark event. We are also glad to exhibit our support for EV adoption, which the city is advocating,” he added
